So I am approaching to make a new list for a new tournament with some of the 8th edition comp.
This mean mostly:
25% points in Lords (Slann/Oldlord in our case)
25% points in Heroes
0-3 everything (inclusive wailing dirge, fanatics, flying units...)
0-2 rare
0-1 dragon and spells and bound spells (this mean you CANNOT have the same spell/bound spell)
Some scenario basing on scoring units (units with banner not BSB)
Max wound for each character max 7
I created 2 lists....the first maximed to have 2 lords and still a carnosaur bsb. The second one (in the second post) is maximed to have some more magic and units. I wanted to try the magic missile combo with a Slann with wandering deliberation and priest with elementalism. I am not so sure about the ruby ring on temple guard but i havent enough point for a skink chief on terradon and i have either to choice between that and lore familiar. The slann have quite long range with the priest+ MM from wandering deliberation so I don't think temple guard have to be too much mobile..
