Hi all, just returning to the world of fantasy and Lizardmen were to fantastic to pass up. This is my first attempt, so please help me out :)

Lords

Slann: Focused Rumination, Cupped Hands, Focus of Mystery, BSB = 395

Heroes

Scar Vet: Armour of Fortune, Sheild, Biting Blade = 133

Core

25 Saurus: FC = 305
24 Saurus: FC = 294

2 x 10 Skink Skirmishers = 140

Special

6 Cham Skinks: Brave = 78

20 Temple Guard: FC = 355

Rare

2 Salamanders = 150
2 Salamanders = 150

Total: 2000 on the dot unless my abacus has failed me

My plan is to outflank with the Sallys, whilst using the Skinks as a shield wall to cover my Saurus. Torn between Light & Life as my lore of choice, does anybody have any preferences on which they think will be complement my force?

Any advise would be appreciated :)

Life equals durability. T8 Warriors with 4+ Regeneration, Slann ignoring miscasts. Yes please.

Light... Meh. It has some good augments, like -1 to hit your unit with both shooting and close combat, or having a unit be I10 AND WS10. And the damage spells are mainly D6 S4 hits. Nothing really exciting.

This is exactly the list i took to Throne of Skulls this March except I dropped one Saurus unit to 20 (for the Watchtower) and put the extras in the other one. I used lore of light, and in all respect to Kor, he's not talking sense. WS 10 and -1 to hit means you're going first and getting hit back on a 6. awesome. Biriona's gives you skinks that can move 24" and still shoot. The missiles are ok, not great but good for hitting those units of dogs or shades etc. It's absolutely awesome lore. I should know,I won best Lizardman player...

life is plain simple boring

light is the best lore for a CC lizardmen army :)
