Not sure if this will work, haven't tried it yet but the concept is pretty easy:

Slann sits at the back and buffs/casts through skink priest dropping high spells and picking up others along the way
Scar vet does what scar vets do
Skink Priest - Scroll Caddy & Arcane Vassel

Skirmishers nuisance and redirect
Saurus form back bone

Kroxigors are the hard hitters vs high armour saves/support the saurus
Ripperdactyls generally go bonkers with tokens everywhere (point to note here, in T2 I may have to place them with their rear facing the enemy so that they don't charge off out of control but I should be able to keep them out of harms way with a skirmishing, flying march of 20")

Salamanders support Saurus/get Walked between worlds

Lords
Slann (BSB) - Focus, Soul of Stone, Higher State, Unfathomable Presence, Earthing Rod, Banner of Swiftness, Dragonbane Gem
(I know this is a lot of points to put into him but he is VERY hard to kill with ethereal, 2++ vs flaming and MR (1-3) and much harder to catch at M5).

Heroes
Scar Vet - CO, LA, Dragon Helm, Dawnstone, GW
Skink Priest (L1 - Beasts) - Dispel Scroll

Core
30 Saurus full command
4*10 Skink Skirmishers

Special
6 Kroxigors inc champion
3*4 Ripperdactyls

Rare
3 Salamanders

What do you think? Any ideas for improvement?

Cool list! I would put the the kroxigors in a skink cohort unit to protect them from shooting! And give the cohort skinks poisonous attacks to give them some power i close combat too.

Hey Taelth

I've thought about skink cohorts but to be honest with you, I've found that when putting out skroxigor units the kroxs get killed first then people kill skinks like killing skaven slaves - a skink tar pit is just a slow seaping of points.

It's much better, I find, to have kroxigors as a supporting unit; keep them on the inner flank and let them counter charge whatever goes after your saurus block. They work quite well in this list because the Ripperdactyls are on top of whatever's shooting at the kroxigors pretty quickly. The thing to remember with the kroxs is don't make a frontal charge with them - they can't take too many hits. If possible it's also good to get the slann to pick up wyssans when you use the high lore attribute, just in case.
