AoS 1K List Shadowstrike

Hello fellow lizard !

I want to try the shadowstrike with the model that I already have and tried to buy just one box of skinks.

Skink Starpriest x1 (80 pts)
Skinks x40 (with boltspitters and shield) (200 pts)
Chameleon Skinks x5 (120 pts)
Ripperdactyl Riders x3 (140 pts)
Shadowstrike Starhost (170 pts)

And I don't know which one other model take between these ones :
- Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur x1 (280 pts)
- Slann Starmaster x1 (260 pts)
- Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One x1 (100 pts) + Saurus Knights x5 (100 pts) + Skink Priest x1 (80 pts)
- Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One x1 (100 pts) + Saurus Knights x5 (100 pts) + Skink Handlers x3 (40 pts) + Salamanders x1 (40 pts)

So, what do you think about it ?

Have you considered a Stegadon with Skink Alpha, who will give your Skink units rerollable battleshock, and can issue an order giving a free movement and rerolling 1s to hit

Seems to have really good synergy with a pure Skink army.

Not really consider it because my next purchase will be a box of skinks to complete my horde and convert 5 in Chameleon. And I only have an engine of the gods (that I built and didn't know about magnetise at that time). So if the ones whom I play with agree that I take my EoG and use it as a stegadon, I don't have one.

But it's a nice idea.

While thinking about what unit to add to your list, do be sure you're meeting the battleline requirement should you be using the matched play rules. At 1000 pts you'll need a second unit of skinks (or a unit of saurus warriors) to field a legal army, which will leave you short of points to field any of the choices you've listed.

For a 1k liste, we need 2 battlefield ? I thought one will be enough ^^.

But if I take the combinaisons with the knight and the Seraphon allegiance it is ok.

Yes, the Knights would fill that last battleline requirement. Might I suggest taking another unit of of 20 skinks (if you have the models), 2 salamanders, and 3 handlers

I can do that, but later because I don't have the models.
In any case, I love all your suggestion. It make me think and I can keep it for the next purchases
