Hi everybody,
I really love the spear saurus blocks and I though why not make a saurus based list for an upcoming match...
I'll probably be facing dark elves, wood elves and ogres. please help me out :P

Scar-Vet
-LA, CO, BBoC, ES

Scar-Vet
-LA, CO, Sh, SotSR, BSB

Skink Priest
-Eotg, Wardrums of X.

16 Saurus Warriors (general in here for 6x3)
-FC, Spears

16 Saurus Warriors 222 pt. (BSB in here for 6x3)
-FC, Spears

3x10 Skink Skirmishers

5 Cold One Cavalry
-Musician, Standard, Warbanner

6 Chameleon Skinks

1 Salamander Hunting Pack

that's 1749 points all together (if i counted right that is...)

Plans are pretty straight forward I guess, I'll just march up my blocks and get some flanks, poison and burnings of on my oponents with the faster units on the flank. With the drums I should be able to position my steg right to do his job. I don't see people using the SotSR a lot on scar-vets, but a BSB with 1+ AS and 6 str 5 attacks sounds pretty scary to me :) The general will be working on the hydra's and flamable spirits of the different elf armies, i also think that the engine will do great against the dryads my friend often fields.

Now please tear my list down for flaws (or praise it ofcourse :P )

Happy Newyear to you all!

anyone? 28 replies and nobody has anything to say about the list? Please help me out.

You know it's a good list. Maybe changing the chamaleons (i don't like them) for a unit of terradons and changing the wardrums for a dispell scroll or the diadem just in case. Everything else is ok, a little bit of an "standard list", but ok.

ah, i didn't know it was a standard one... came up with it on my own, allright thanks :D, i'll start playtesting with the magic items then
