8th Ed. 1600 Point list.

I just want to know Your oppinion about this armylist I came up.

-=Lords=- 380 pts
Slann (lore of Life)
-2 disciplines (Focused Rumination, and Focuse of Mystery)
-Plaque of Protection
-BSB

-=Heroes=- 395 pts
Skink Priest lvl 1
-Dawnstone
-Plaque of Tepok
-EotG

-=Core=- 510
3x10 Skink skirmishers with Blowpipes
1x10skink Kohort with Javelin and Shield
20xSaurus Warriors with FCG

-=Special=- 235
5xChameleon skinks
5xCold One Cavalery

-=Rare=- 80
Salamander with extra snack

This list is dictated by my model limitations (i currently have a Batalion, a magnetizes Steg, a box of Skinks, a salamander, 10 skinks and a Oldblood on Foot with a possibility to act like a BSB
I was planning to use Lore of the Shadow, but I don't have the potins for Cupped Hands and i need the BSB.
I know CoC is totally useless(esp. without a musician) but it's cheaper than TG which i have 10.
Any thoughts??

A Slann and an EotG at 1600points is just about 50% of the army, magic is great but I think it serves best as a "force multiplier" on the rest of your army. Its rarely going to win you games on its own. If your Model count is low I would recommend starting with smaller games, unless the 1600 army is for a specific match or tournament?
