I'm playing a game tomorrow at 1500 pts. I don't know what my opponent will have or how competitive we will be playing.
So I made the following list:
Lord:
Slann - General
Rumination
Mystery
Unfathomable
Life Lore
Hero:
Scar Vet
-Cold One
-Halberd
-Light Armor
-Shield
-BSB (Banner of Flame)
Core:
24x Saurus HW + Shield + FC
24x Saurus Spear + Shield + FC
10x Skink Skirmisher
Special:
5x Chameleon
5x Chameleon
Rare:
Sally Pack + Snack
Sally Pack + Snack
1499pts total.
Everything fits in the points limits (Slann is exactly legal lol).
I figured a slann without TG is much more vunerable. Not toooo shooty, focused around the Saurus Marching in and grinding away. I am going to take Life Lore for throne, regrowth and other stuff obviously. Scar Vet Joins the Spears, they are meant to the anvil dishing out 27 attacks when charged.
If you faced this would you call it cheesy, competitive or balanced?
And should I give my scar vet a GW instead of Halberd. For some reason I remember a rule that makes having a halberd better when mounted. But I can't remember what it is?
Thanks for any comments!
Mitch
