8th Ed. 1500 vs dwarves

i have a battle this evening 1500pts and im versing my allies the dwarves for an exhibition war.
i have never fielded anything over 1000pts so faqr. got any good ideas and strats to help me in my hour of need?

Dwarves are annoying to face.

I find multiple units of chamos and terradons are good, if you just take a unit or two of them they however they will just get organ gunned right away.

Also comet of cassadora is a great answer to a dwarf castle.

Besides that, post up your army list.

At 1500 points versus dwarves I'd recommend leaving the magic at home. I'd also recommend going heavy on Core taking big blocks of Saurus and maybe a block of Skroxigor. Add some Chamo Skinks and/or Terradons for war machine control and you should have your bases covered.

Stegadons will just eat cannon balls, so I'd recommend not taking them. Salamanders I'm on the fence about vs. dwarves.

i was thinking of something like this:

30 saurus, scar-vet bsb
iron curse icon
command

10 skirmishers

16 skinks with 2 krox
command

8 cold one cavalry
command
magic banner of swiftness

and probably will field an old blood on cold one with uber defence items to roam
