8th Ed. 1500 pts list for an upcoming campaign

So I'm preparing for a campaign I'll be playing during the holidays with some friends. I'll be facing Dark Elves, Daemons and possibly Warrior of Chaos. As the only good guy, I obviously want to prevail. I've made a draft for a 1500 pts list and I'm unsure on how to finish the list so I'd appreciate your input between 2 options.

Keep in mind the list isn't meant to be particularly competitive and we play the campaign with models, no proxies.

The army of Lord Pacha-Kamak, Mage-Priest of Kro'Huan

Lord Pacha Kamak
Slann-Mage Priest, Focused Rumination, Focus of Mystery, Lore of Life

14 Temple Guards w/full command

War Leader Kor'Bok
Saurus Scar Veteran, BSB, Armour of Fortune, Gold Sigil Sword, Shield

25 Saurus Warriors w/full command

The Hunter of Kro'Huan
10 Skink Skirmishers

The Eyes of Kro'Huan
5 Chameleon Skinks

This base list leaves me with 318 pts to spend. I thought about the following 2 options:

Option A:
- Kha'Tli - Ancient Stegadon
- +3 Chameleon Skink in the unit
- Stalker in the Chameleon unit

Option B:
- Kro'Huan's Border Patrol - 5 Saurus Cold One Cavalry
- The Ears of Kro'Huan - 5 Chameleon Skinks
- Salamander with extra snack (forgot the name I gave her!)
