8th Ed. 1500 pt Tourney List

Hey all, I am new to the fourms and was wondering if I could have some advice on my tournament list. I am up against Empire and Dwarfs in my next two games which I have to use this list for. It is also a scenario match, the 3rd scenario which is Battle for the Pass.

Slann Mage Priest
-Focus of mystery, The Focused remunation, BSB

18 Temple Guard
- Standard Bearer

5 Cold One Cavalary
- Musician

10 Chamelon Skinks

20 Saurus warriors
- Standard Bearer

10 Skink Skirmishers
10 Skink Skirmishers

Salamander Hunting Pack x2

I am also unsure about what lore to take for this list, I cant decide what would benefit me in this scenario.

Yours is a very solid list. I would advice to break your unit of chameleons in 2 units of 5, which should allow you to take care of multiple targets a turn.

I use Cold One Cavalry myself. Don't worry if they end up getting wiped fast by shooting, they are good at that .

I think you have a flexible list. The only thing you might struggle against are high armour units/high toughness monsters. Luckily, dwarves have none.

Thanks for the advice, I have changed my list slightly, I have dropped the standard bearer from the TG and gave myself an extra 2 chamo skinks (I already had some points left over) So I will have two units of 6 chamelon skinks. My list came too just under 1500 so I decided to add in the Ironcurse Icon aswell.

I rarely use CO as I find that they die too easily but I really like the models so I will give them another go. I am going to take the lore of life, therefore I will be able to regrowth them . Well thats the plan anyway.
