At the end of February, I'll be attending a doubles tourney with a wood elf player (his only army) as such i quickly set aside my skaven (not a very good alliance) bretonia (ppraying to the lady-starting second) and have dusted off my Lizards!
My ally will be fielding a typical fast MSU elf army led by a level 4 dark magic mage, (Glade riders, wild riders, sisters)
I've been playing around with the Lizardmen i have and have so far come up with the following.
Please note:no end times, pairs can't use the same army, Special characters allowed!
Saurus old blood: cold one, great weapon,dawn stone, armour of destiny
Tetto'eko
Skink chief: bsb
40 Skink cohort: Full command, 2 kroxigors, poisoned attacks
10 skink skirmishers: javelins
10 skink skirmishers: javelins
10 skink skirmishers: javelins
2 Jungle swarms (quite fancy having these tie up a unit then allow one of my allies wild rider units to get poisoned attacks.
Ancient Steg EOTG
Ran a quick test game today of my list vs his, and I'm fairly happy with everything, apart from the mega-cohort it attracked a stupid amount of magic/shooting.
Please feel free to rip the list apart, I don't have all of the newer models, but should be able to beg/borrow/steal them from the other lizardmen players in the area.
the only unit that I'd really like to include if possible is Tetto'eko.
