I used this list against a beastmen army this past weekend.
Scar vet on cold one 100
5 saurus knights 120

Scar vet on carnesaur 260 (general w/quicksilver potion)

10 saurus warriors w / spears 100
Bastiladon 300
5 chameleon skinks 120
Jade battlemage 100
It worked pretty good. The mage buffed the bastilidon while the skink starlighted units during the game. The cavalry would hit and run keeping charges a constant. The carnesaur would assist in krumping along the battleline.

Looks solid, and if it matched up against beastmen with tbeir speed then you know you have a decent list.

What is the point of bringing 10 warriors?

Strictly a support unit to sit on an objective while the rest of the army can do the heavy lifting.

May I ask why spears over Celestite clubs in a group of 10? Is it like really hard to pile in enough clubs to worth over spears ?
