Joining a tournament tommorow

Slann 240 (general)
- Vast intellect

Scar vet cold one 100
- Coronal shield

Engine of the gods 220

40 warriors (spears)

200 points over for summoning (probably a starpriest)

The list does lack some heavy hitting but im focussing more on holding and burning objectives;

Rethinking the list as
Slann 240 (general)

I like the second list A LOT more! Tell us the final results and obviously have fun! :)
 
Hmmm the first one has more wounds but I think I would also go for the second one.
The 20xSaurus units won't do that much since they lack their bonuses.

Anyways the list was solid and won major victories all around.

Game 1 was vs another seraphon player with a carnosaur and skink list but no bastilodon or anything such.
The mission was duality of death so quickly throwing my bastiladon with mystic shield secured 1 and my 40 warriors quickly rushed anything off of the other objctive with a summoned priest holding it.

Game 2 was a lot tougher.
the mission was starstrike and my opponent had a very strong competitive Vulkite berserkers list. 4+ saves with rerolls and a 4+ after save they barely went down. I let them come to me as the final round was the most important part. Battlelines clashed but his berserkers and heartguard were vastly superior and my warriors quickly dwindled. Luckily my slann summoned a quick unit of salamanders to burn some hearthfire guards and magmadroths. Last turn i used my teleport to claim an objective with 10 skinks giving me 10 points to go 22 against 18.

Game 3 was more brutal, but also easier as the mission was scorched earth.
This time opponent was a real meta-slave that played the most recent tournament lists. He brought kharadron with a frigate ship in reserves that dropped down turn 1 and melted anyone's army. He made a grave mistake of going so all out that he neglected his own objectives giving me a quick grab at turn 2 for 5 points in a turn. He pretty much tabled me but with the teleports and melee tarpits I scored an enourmous 17 points while he slowly walked across the board to finish me off. The star of that game was my bastiladon sitting in the middle holding off a frigate ship and 9 endrinriggers (he had a total of 12 of them). Won the entire tournament in the end with only major victories. I would add a skink starpriest to the list to be able to cast mystic shield and Starlight if my slann gets sniped.

Good report, glad to see the list working and a Seraphon player winning a tournament!
