8th Ed. 1250 Staff Challenge

Heres the list that I'll be using to play the staff at my local GW:

Total: 1250 points

I played against a Warriors of Chaos player and crushed him, which was the first victory I've had in a while. My possible opponents are Skaven (unlikely), Daemons of Chaos (probably Slaanesh Ld. Crush list... *shudder*), or Lizardmen (GASP! Traitors!).

where are the salamanders?

I'd cut the OB to make room for them.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have any Salamanders (blasphemy, I know). Basically, I'm trying to use the models I have (I am planning to invest in some Sallies soon, though).

Where is your Spriest going to be?

Also, your OB, 40 points for +2 strength is a bit steep at 1250 imo, Why not swap for the potion of strength, its half the cost and +3S. You can save it for when you really need it *against big scary things or to break a unit*Or even the Sword of Swift Slaying, ASF is amazing, and with I4, you might get some re-rolls.

In fact, you could run that setup for 5 points more and that could be much more effective imo.

Only other thing I could say is Where are the Salamanders!!!!

But you answered that and I was once too in the same predicament, managed to snag 2 for Valentines day lol
