Hello everyone,

I'm new to Lizardmen.

Here is my idea for a cold one list.

Old blood on cold one w/ piranha blade and stegadon helm.

8 cold ones w/ musician, standard bearer and champion

8 cold ones w/ Musician, standard bearer and champion

36 saurus warriors w/ musician, bearer and champion

my thought is the saurus warriors will form the center and the cold ones will provide flanking roles as needed.

As awesome it could be, you only field 3 units.

One to avoid until is left for dead, the other two will be focused , lurked or just pulled in a pointless pursuit against some enemy fleeing chaff. (Predatory fighter and no skink hero)

Anyway your enemy will outmaneuver you since your main block is slow enough and ofc forced to pursuit, a light chaff charging by the rear with enough numbers to survive and your main block is running backwards to the enemy...

I suggest to trim your cold one riders to 2 units of 5 naked. Their role should be chaff cleaners.
Your main block should not be huge, Your army will do better with 1 or 2 medium size blocks powered up by a hero/lord.

For the points you gain by reducing your Cold One Riders you should include some Skinks, spending 200 points on skinks can make you win the game as they fulfill many roles and of course you can sacrifice them for the greater good.

Get at least one Skink priest with beast to buff your friendly units. And field a cheap but badass Oldblood. (less than 200 points) in one of your blocks.

It should be near 1200 points, but if you can spare 100 points you can field an awesome Skink chief on ripperdactyle with 2+ AS save. Even maybe have room for a cheap Scarvet BSB for 150 points.
