8th Ed. 1000Pts - Any Advice?

Hey all! I've been with Warhammer and the Lizardmen since their latest update, so I'm still pretty new to the game and have been trying quite a few different things out. I don't game with a particularly competitive group and this list has served me rather well, but I'd love to hear from some of you on how I might improve it. Thanks!

Unfortunately I'm lacking a hero for combat, as well as a Battle Standard Bearer and somebody to carry a Dispel Scroll. It's just that Tetto'eko pretty much sucks up my allowance at 1000Pts, and has performed very well for me so far.

I like it, conservative tetto bunker, two medium grade blocks, enough scouts to demo artillery and shooters. Have you run up against monsters? Your saurus champs may not be worth the points as an enemy unit hero will wipe a champ out in a challenge. Before you can return fire.

At 1000Pts, not many. A friend of mine who plays Beastmen might be bringing some Minotaurs to the table, but I'm not likely to be seeing anything bigger at this point in my hobby group. Hopefully if I do come across anything like that my Lore of Heavens buffs and debuffs will help me out some. There's always the hope of getting lucky with things like Urannon's Thunderbolt or Chain Lightning, too.
