This list is one half of a doubles list for an upcoming tournament..

Scar-vet, cold one, LA, Burning blade, Maiming shield

Skink chief, Terradon, LA & SH, staff of lost sun

Skink priest, Diedem, dispell scroll

2X 10 skink skirmishers

5 coldone riders

4 terradons

Still trying to iron out some details, but was curios on what people thought. The other half of my team is wood elves which is allowed in this tourny.

I'd honestly drop the skink chief. Too many characters in a 1000 points game for my taste!

Ya I've noticed most people limit the hero choices. but I think having a hero in my units makes them a little more effective and resilient especially at this point size where you want the most out of your limited units. Having three core or a salamander. doesn't seem like huge advantage to me. but I definitely appreciate the feed back, and when I die a horrible death I will have no problem acknowledging you were right.

So I've decided to re-write my list.

Scar-vet, LA, Cold one, Burning blade, Maiming shield.

Skink chief, Terradon, LA, Jav, Venom of FFF, mirror shield

Skink priest, Lvl2, Diadem, dispell

2x10 Skink skirmishers

12 Saures w/ spears and musician

2x3 terradon riders

1 Salamander hunting pack/ extra handler.

Do you know what your partners army is going to be on the tourney?
or is it going to be completely random?

I think your 2nd list has more potential then the 1st one. I'd drop the skink chief to bring up the Saurus unit up to 17 or so. 12 doesn't make much of a hammer/anvil.

Other then that, I think that your list has lots of potential with great mobility and possibly decent hitting power if you bump up the saurus block.
