8th Ed. 1000 points for escalation league

1000 point list for escalation league (you can play up to 5 games a month and it goes up 500 every month till it hits 2500). Been playing with my hordes army a lot so i decided to break out the lizzies for some light competition. Looking to build into an eotg instead of slann as a more friendly list as many new players will be joining the league to slowly build an army. anyways, here goes:

Lords:

oldblood w/ hw and shield, dragon helm, and crown of command (he is the general) - 196

Heroes:

skink priest w/ dispel scroll - 90

Core:

11 skink skirmishers w/ blowpipes - 77

10 skink skirmishers w/ blowpipes - 70

20 saurus w/ hw and shield, full command - 250

Special:

stegadon

Rare:

Salamander w/ snack - 80


TOTAL: 998

Looks like a fun list to play with newbies. No sense in slapping them with a Slann on their first few games. Let them get comfy before introducing them to the full might of the Old One's fury.

yea, and honestly slann isnt quite a challenge anymore, my slann has NEVER died! ive lost plenty of games but the fat toad has always lived.... (granted ive probably only played a slann 15 games) i prefer a carno or for friendly games eotg
