8th Ed. 1000 points, advice welcome

[Bylaw]

Hey guys i've only played 2 game with this list and it's gone pretty well so far, it was against ogres and dwarves and i won both but i don't expect that to last. It's pretty much all the models i own and i was wondering what you would suggest changing (if anything), this will also help me decide what to buy next.

So far the plan has been to have the scar vet in the saurus block marching up as fast as possible, with the skinks causing all kind of havoc on the flanks, with the priest in one of the units. The plan with the cavalry is to try and get a flank charge to help out the saurus when they need it or to go after units of archers or other ranged units if they get the opportunity, they made good work of a thunderer unit last game . Let me know what you think thanks in advance.

Do you play against armies other than Ogres and Dwarves? If so, get a few salamanders. They are awesome against anything with low leadership and/or low toughness.

Do you plan to play larger games than 1000 points? If so, get a Slann. You may want to consider some Temple Guard. I haven't used them yet, but they can be useful in certain types of lists.

You may want to consider more skinks and some Kroxigors. The combined Skrox unit is quite useful and can fill a similar role to the Cold one Cavalry.

seems solid. I would def try to work in at least 1 salamander unit. against multi wound or high T models, they aren't as great, but they rock everything else

It looks good, I've been playing low points games recently and I've been so impressed by a 20 strong block of Saurus warriors.

Salamanders are next on my shopping list!
