7th Ed. 1000 Point New Player Army

Hi everyone, I am new to Warhammer Fantasy and Lizardmen, so here is my first army list:

For the tactics of this army I was planning on using the Skink Skirmishers as screens to aid in moving my Saurus blocks up the table so they can serve as anvils for the Cold One Cavalry, the hammer. I have a Skink Priest as a scroll caddy and Lvl 2 as my main caster; however, I am not sure where I want to place the Skink Priests. A possibility for them could be in with the skirmishers to effectively give then 8 wounds, but they will be serving as screens and will be shot at a lot. The other choice would be the Saurus blocks that have much more survivability. The Scar-Vet will of course run with the CoC to hopefully chew through blocks. Right now, these are all the models I currently have, the contents of the old Lizardmen army box, but I plan on picking up some Terradons since I've only heard good things about them. So that about wraps it up and as a new player I welcome all comments and criticism, and hope to hear from y'all. Thanks!

Well, minimum unit size for Skinks is 10, so you'll need to fix that. Other than that, it looks like a pretty decent list.

Good balanced list which had been compiled on the basis of those miniatures that you have you have just buy one aditional skinks and saurus box

It would be better to put them into skink units because they are scormishers and they are not afraid of shooting))
