so I will play my first real AoS game in a week and we play a 4v3 capture the hill some kind of that. I am allied with an undead (50 skeletons meatshield), stormcast eternals (some quality troops and range fire) and sylvaneth (with drycha and kurnos hunters with bow i think).

When summoning a unit with a Slann or the EoTG, do I have to have extra points or can I get it for free? Does this also apply to summons such as the 12 on a Screaming Bell for a Verminlord? Basically what is the difference between "summon," "you may set up," "reinforce," and "is called forth?"
So I heard that with competetive you had to put aside points and you could then summon units from that point pool.
But how does it work in normal matches for fun? You are able to summon no more units then the amounts of spells your slann can cast per turn?
And how does that work for Engines...
