I get mice twice a year and on average go through about 16 mouse traps a year. At any given time, I have at least 3 or 4 traps in various known mouse hot spots.

Hypothetically, if I had a cat, I would have to remove to remove these mouse traps because a cat could easily hurt itself by stepping on one.

So I couldn't take a cat that is not able to ruthlessly slaughter mice. Stories like this are a major reason I never got a cat.

Also, I'd have spend a lot of money on more secure storage for all my miniatures.
