What are you doing today hobbywise?

Are you going to get them if they bring out models for TOW?

I believe the answer to that is "Is water wet?"

But then, I know warden loves bretonnia.

Or "Do Grail Knights revere the Lady?" ;)

I know he does. Was hoping to hear his views on TOW.

To be honest, I would think @Warden's response depends on the following:
  1. Whether the TOW Bretonnian models are entirely Forge World or if the main kits are to be GW plastic, supplemented by some big FW character models

I've finally gotten started on a heavy weapon rat.

Flash Git torso, arms and weapon base, Rat Ogre lower legs and tail, spare Stormfiend ratling gun with assault cannon rail, and Stormvermin head.

Apart from being a one-rat ratling gun "team", I intend on using this brute as a "twin-linked heavy stubber"-equipped stigg-shambler in my Skaven gang for Necromunda.

That's a great idea actually. Totally feasible for the underhive where mutants abound anyways (plus they already have giant rats).
I actually headcanon a band of critically lost skaven that arrived in an underhive on Necromunda by gnawhole or skittergate, lost the means to return back to the Mortal Realms, and after a quick look of their new surroundings decided that they would remain there most excellently.

They're especially amused by the local man-things being very Skaven-like in behaviour, including this one man-thing who believes his god speaks to him through rats.

Very nice bit of background lore you have there!

I assume you will be using Cawdor gang rules for your Skaven, given Cawdor in the new Necromunda are pretty much human Skaven?

Genestealer-infected, but yes they're functionally a Cawdor gang. I couldn't give my stormvermin "brethren" blunderbuss-polearms otherwise.

On top of having access to the base gang's fighter profiles, equipment and special abilities, an infected gang also has access to up to one aberrant and the ability to hire hybrid juves (take your normal juve profile and give them Third Arm at +30 credits), with the caveat that it must be an outlaw gang and it has to pay an additional d6x10 credits to the doc if they need anyone patched up (obviously to bribe the doc to keep silent about their nature). This works out well for a Skaven theme, especially with the aberrant being represented well with a rat ogre.

A (re)start on painting my titans in Legio Astorum colours, starting with yellow.

First time tinkering with a Vallejo paint (Naranja Orange in this case), which I used for the base layer. I built up from that by airbrush using Averland Sunset and capped it off with a zenithal highlight of Flash Gitz Yellow.

I've currently got it all masked off in prep for applying the blue gradients on the remaining panels. I'll be masking it off further afterward to handle the metallic components underneath.

lovely ones!
Assembly-lined the blue today.

Macragge Blue for the base, followed by Caledor Sky highlight and Calgar Blue zenithal overcast.

With that done, I can take a step back and focus on one or two in detail at a time.

And the underlying metallics are done. Took 2 hours applying masking tape for 10-15 minutes of spray paint. :D

I'll be handling the gold trim on these two tomorrow.
