AoS Brainstorming what the Old World heroes of the lizardmen would be

Take the oldblood we have right now and change the name.
 
Since we're bouncing around between different ideas, how would you all feel if I did a weekly-ish thing where I redesign a Seraphon warscroll, or design a new one based off requests? Could be old world heroes that could fit into AoS, models from TWWH, or just redoing some of our current ones?

You may do whatever you want but that doesn't say I won't pop in and look at the warscrolls and maybe test them out

I would be absolutely over the moon if they were to actually start bringing back old named characters, *especially* Kroq-Gar as he's my favorite!

However, if we were to get a BR book at all, which I unfortunately doubt we will since GW doesn't want us having any significance in the lore, it would probably be about Kroak since he's our only named character anymore. (Underworlds warband doesn't count) Still, it would be pretty awesome to see Lord Kroak "wake up" and start taking a bigger role in leading the Seraphon. He's literally the oldest being in the universe right now, except possibly the Chaos Gods themselves. Either that, or they would make up some new character as the new MC of the Seraphon faction. Most likely another Slann or a Skink priest of some sort.

I'd really just be happy with Seraphon getting to have at least some positive spotlight in the setting, though. The Broken Realms books are all about big-time movers and shakers in the setting, and that sort of tone can be seen in their battletomes like with Lumineth, DoK and Slaanesh. I'm sure that the Soulblight Gravelords will have some major impact on the lore when they get released as well, since Teclis vs. Nagash seems to be a big thing these days. However, in both our battletome and the rest of the lore, the whole tone of how Seraphon are described is basically "They don't like Chaos, and sometimes they do stuff, no one knows why."

Bait and trap
The Ancient Razordon is a master of luring in prey and tackling them down in a torrent of blood and gore
On being charged. roll a dice on a 5+ deal 1d3 wounds at -1 rend

Echoing trajectory
The Ancient Razordons barbs are hollow and shatter and splinter on contact with targets causing them to shriek out in agony, alerting packmates to zone in on their prey. On dealing damage with the amaxon barbs +4" range on shots to all Razordons within 10"

Steed hunter
The Ancient Radordons are known for their volatility towards cavalry and steeds of enemies in general. Causing them to go into a frenzy when in combat with them. When in combat with any cavalry or heroes on a mount on an unmodified roll of 5+ deal 1 mortal wound that ignores saves

Territorial ferocity The Horned one is a fiercely territorial animal that is known for claiming areas for itself and attacking all invaders. When this model is slays a model near a terrain piece the mount gains +1 attacks for all mount weapons.

Rampage when a pack of horned one knights charge into a crowd there is nothing but blood and carnage left behind. All horned one Knights get +1 damage on all weapons on the charge

I'm not good at the timeline of Warhammer, would Lord Kroak be alive at this point, or already unalive?
 
In heavy jungle mist there is in the distance the sound of trees breaking under heavy foot falls, birds angrily squak and rush out from their perches as they begin in a furry to fly higher into the sky. The ground itself begins to shake as a behemoth strides closer, even the mighty warhorses trained to ignore loud battles begin to whine ajd fight against their holdings.

Minute by minute the crashing of trees finally almost ontop of the human patrol, they free their horses and begin to ride towards a clearing. Upon reaching the clearing in the jungle they look behind them, on awe they cannot look away, a giant long necked creature mounted with a mighty Fortress on its back continues to walk towards, seemingly not noticing the patrol.

"No worries lad! Something so big isnt going to no-" *Crash* a large foot falls upon the commander, only missing his party by mere feet, their fates are soon sealed as a rain fall of javalins skewer the horses and men to the ground they stand on....

And so is the fate of those who encounter Tlanextic, The First Thunder Lizard of Texcoco

So, this is probably the 10th or something edit of this warscroll and is designed with larger games in mind. Still fiddling with it, c&c welcome. She is placed on a Dread Saurian sized base. I am working on a second warscroll and will be working on a second kitbash for a Smaller Thunder Lizard this year. Likely more Dread Saurian like and focusing more on the beast than the howdah + riders, but we'll see.
