AoS Stormcast attempt raid against Seraphon High Queen Luciz lair!

It's funny, with all the (over)-proliferation of horns, spikes and other ornamentation you see in GW's models, it's good to see that for lizards, nature too has a similar taste in aesthetic! Your girl has all sorts of cool spikes and patterns!

Her stat line is immense! Seeing as she eats worms that are as long as a man by the dozen, and easily devours giant corok roooches™ with armour as thick as a Karadon overlords cod piece.

Endless maw 8 attacks hit on 3 wound on 2's. - 3 rend.
Giant claws 4 d6 attacks, hit on 3 wound on 3.
Giant Tail of the High Queen, 2 d6 mortal wounds.

Spells,
curse of the old ones, range 36 inchs, 2 d6 mortal wounds.
I taught Nagash everything he knows, range 50 inchs 8 d6 mortal wounds.

IMG_0051.JPG IMG_0054.JPG Some slightly better pictures from the shoot!

Here you can see one of the giant worms next to the old blood, even as we speak now, I really doubt that worm is still alive.

Also I have to say, the best paint jobs on miniatures I have seen, look really crappy compared to the real thing. High Queen Luciz looks "real" in a way even heavy metal painters can't pull off.

I might throw out my minitures and start playing with real lizards and rats and just use the Seraphon and Skaven rules for them.

Be careful if you feed her rodents, they could scratch and claw and we cannot allow the high queen to be harmed by the rat spawn o_O

Say how big is she? Based on scale she looks massive!

It's the uncanny-valley thing. No matter how good they're painted some things will remain just ever so slightly slightly "wrong". Things like the lightning, the fabric something is supposed to be made of, it's all artificial done with what are essentially optical illusions. And you're very very good at picking up those minute differences.

And then of course there's the bigger more Obvious difference that no amount of painting is ever going to fix, like the fact that a cape is blowing in the wind without there actually being any wind or models standing perfectly still perpetually.

She is not mine, she belongs to the women who lives in the next room to me, who I play AoS with. She has never been fed rodents, I didn't even think that they could eat a rat, and I just saw on youtube now... poor rat :(

She only gets fed, worms, crickets, cockroaches and sometimes locusts, but apparently the locusts are expensive and she will eat the whole box in about 5 minutes. She is not super keen on cockroaches.

She's pretty big. She is very old tho, about 8 years old. Its hard to compare the size to something because, she has long tail as well.

Don’t feel to bad for rats, those things are nasty (spent time in NY city, they were everywhere). She does look very healthy though and seems well cared for :)

As for the tail, that’s understandable as my own lizard is fairly large, but half his body size is from his fat purple tail

Yes a horrible video.

I may not like rats but what they did is really unnecessary and completely uncalled for...

If it’s all right can we move onto less disturbing subjects? Seeing stuff getting devoured makes me uneasy

I remove the links of the lizards eating things, as its really not very nice.
Thank you, they weren’t that pleasant to view. However the high queen of the seraphon is adorable so keep sending us stuff on her :)

I did witness the High Queen eat 4 giant Locausts of Ghurr today!

I put about 4 in the tank, and she ate them all instantly. The High Queen did move with much purpose and haste!

The last 2 i put in, were hiding out in the corner of the tank. The thing is, when I was walking home with the giant Locausts of ghurr, one was banging its head against the top of the tub.

I felt bad, I knew I would grant him his freedoms but, at a terrible price.

I try to make video of the High Queen eating giant Locausts of Ghurr.
