I think Saurus are just a battleline that you can't do much wrong with. a large unit will hold their own well enough for support to arrive. they are also good at holding objectives and other defensive duties. this is why i generally prefer to summon them when needed.

I am considering more competitive play but I usually play a casual match. although there is a lot of glory and honor on the line

Another weekend of disappointment?
 
I expect nothing for Seraphon, this general games expo will most likely be perhaps another warcry warband, or some other box game focus. Perhaps some video game IP's. Really do not expect any new battletome reveals or models for the actual AoS game.

The Sylvaneth battletome being stuck seems to have thrown a wrench in the AoS gears.

how do you mean "stuck" whats wrong with the Battletome?
 
Well right on this one. Wood Elves get a team before we do? What gives!? No Shadespire or Nightvault updates either as a Seraphon band has to be in the works...
 
We got all the side games stuff news today which mean tomorrow main games news I guess .

Something with trade treaties and there being issues with moving the physical tomes to wherever is needed. There was a weird video about it a little while back

Think this has more to do with trump and his war on China and goods being released in America at the same time as the rest of the world

Our battle tome is literally useless. What do we have? Nothing. The lore has been retconned to such an extent that only a few pages are even cannon. But aside from the lore what else is there? A few cool paint jobs, without guides to them. When me and a friend worked out some battalion colors we wanted to do I had to take a few hours to pick out paints off the citadel painting app. So great, the painting guide is slow and clunky, but it still provides so cool concepts. Fine. But what about the rules? Surely they are functional? NOPE. We got nothing for warbands, nothing for plenty of other stuff. As for spells; also nothing there. We are older than spell lores. Then the warscrolls, so old and clunky and haven’t received a proper update in years.

Sorry for the rant but our battletome really is dysfunctional.
