Overall I've got a lot done today, stayed up late last night doing leaves and managed to get the tree finished since the last update I've added the tree, an owl, and the mushrooms. it should definitely be finished tomorrow since all I have left is the salamander and some clean up on the skink handler. after this is complete I'll post some good quality pictures of it then I will work on 3-4 skinks before starting on an even bigger project that I'm not gonna reveal until the time but its twice the size and will take me 2-3 weeks to complete at a minimum.

Hey guys making some progress on my skink priest base, I have blu-tacked some items down to give me a sense of where it's going and what im going to do with sand/moss/the floor:

Didn't get much done today as the greenstuff rune pattern I applied to the altar in the center is drying and might take a while, after that I will finish the altar and side bits then post another picture sometime this weekend

I Have been working on the center bit so I can get a bit more of a feel on where everything is going, some of the stuff I ordered online arrived yesterday (flower charm things, Aztec ruins,and various other bits and bobs)
In my order as I mentioned above I got some flower charm things that are designed for bracelets and girls hair bands, but after some thinking I was able to get them to work with a wash or two and the right placement, they give a nice spark of clean colour and add to the mystical jungle aspect.

Nice looking use of extra parts/jungle bits! I like how the skink on the skull is epically posed.

...and I also like how the little dragonfly-lizard is positioned on the base, really jungle looking!
