Maybe @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl is correct, the prequels do have potential.

Glad you think so. :)

My mind tricks are working... :p

They just needed a bit of a tweak in the dialogue department....
I've been looking around the net and this is what the majority do say. What they also say is that in comparison to Episode VII certainly and Episode VIII less so, the prequels have much better stories and world-building, and I certainly agree here. Certainly the originality of the stories is far greater than in VII and possibly VIII. In Episodes I-III many of the aliens you see in IV-VI (Jawas, Tuskens and Wookiees for example) return to flesh out the different planets with creatures you know other than humans, while in VII and VIII there are no creatures from the Prequels or Originals (apart from Chewie), so no familiar faces to guide you around the less familiar aspects. I also agree with you and others that some planets in VII and VIII are out of place - certainly Canto Bight just doesn't feel 'Star Wars' in places - there's too much of our own world in it. I rely on Star Wars literature to do much of the explanation of the background and many of the alien characters' species aren't even mentioned. The reason I keep on talking about the stories and less about acting is because I'm usually able to see past the acting, however good or bad it is, and I become more of a judge on the story taking place, but this means I'm a pretty poor judge of acting as I pay less attention to it.

Greetings and Felicitations!

Its April and I just noticed that I hadn't changed my calendar yet.

I have a Last Jedi calendar that I should be showing you all each month. Shame on me *slaps hand*. This month it’s a First Order Executioner that is featured. Luke appeared in January, a Praetorian appeared in February and Rey appeared in March.
