GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Hahaha I think we won't reach agreement in THAT particular topic. :D
Ok but joke aside the artwork you posted is awesome. I am not a fan of the Sea Aelves but it makes me want to look at them again.

They also posted it's stats over on the Warhammer Community website.
There was someone who said the Leviadon looks weak. Even though we haven't got the full lot yet. Come on its ranged weapon is 24"

With 16 wounds and a 3+ save (2+ first turn), I've definitely seen weaker profiles

Well everyone, I've seen the Namarti sprues and for the most part the arms and heads are separate from the bodies, which means that there's great potential for Elf Hoplite conversions there. I'm still waiting to see how many heads with Corinthian helmets come with the eel riders box. Certainly the Deepkin as a faction have got me a lot more interested than the Daughters of Khaine before them, and have potential for some of the units to be used in Fantasy as well with some conversion work done. I'm stuck now between choosing them and Fyreslayers!

One thing is though that the Eidolon is ridiculously overpriced. £65 for a model that isn't actually that big except for the wave? The Magmadroth was less than that even before it became part of the Start Collecting box and it is considerably larger and also comes with 2 additional characters. The Namarti (A.K.A. Potential Elf Hoplites) though seem fairly priced - £30 for 10 blokes seems to be the norm for GW now, as Vulkites were £35 to the same extent.

Also, because it's a fantasy world, the fact that these Elf Hoplites wouldn't have much armour on doesn't matter!

Elf version of 300 anyone?
