First post on this forum so I want to say hi! :)

Due to 9th age, I decided to start again collecting and playing Lizardmens. Guess your paintlog will be inspiration for my miniatures, they are simply amazing! ( of course if I can :)) I have to say thay you have probably the most beautiful miniatures I have ever seen.

Could you tell me (or make a quick tutorial) how do you make your bases? And what water effect you are using? I would be really grateful :)

I'd be happy to do up a tutorial, I have a few people interested in the basing! I'll see if I can get something up before the weekend :)

Loving the colours and the technique! I have been zooming into your pictures to try and see how you painted the purple and orange/yellow as I want to learn how to paint similar super mega bright colours. Very inspiring! And you are even instantly great at conversions? I love the alternative Engine of the Gods! I'm super excited to see it painted!

Ahh, I see. You finally made it over here! Been following you on FB for a good while, happy that you finally found the jungle ;)

Have you started anything big after Captain Dread?

I'm so sorry I haven't done a basing tutorial guys :( other hobbies have literally consumed my life and I havent touched a paintbrush seriously for quite some time. I'm hoping I can muster the strength to do a stegadon for a comp in janurary, and he needs a base so I'll take pics of the progress there :)
In the meantime, here's my armies on parade entry! I won gold :D Hoping to get better pics this week sometime!

The board is gorgeous! All that lush greenery, and your models of course are brilliant! The little jurassic park sign is spot on and a great addition! Absolutely stunning.

Amazing board, I hope you have taken lots of photos as you worked on it as I think that could be a very good tutorial. :)

What I love most about the board is how you have positioned the Dread Saurian, he looks tiny against the backdrop but then when you focus in on the skink priest in the foreground he look massive, excellent use of perspective :spiderman:

I've saved most of your lizards in an album for miniature inspiration. Or just to gawk at their beauty, who knows.

Back to work on my boring classic turquoise skinks....only 20-something to go.
