I still love that in the Adam West Batman cartoon from a few years ago we had all three original women for a moment. Batman was hit on the head and saw triple while looking at Catwoman.

People have said some variation, "Okay after he burned his THIRD orphanage down, any additional killing Joker does is on Batman's head." I disagree.

Or at the very least, I disagree that it's Batman's fault. Batman keeps apprehending the Joker and the Joker keeps getting incarcerated albeit temporarily. Whatever state has jurisdiction of Gotham City, I think they have the death penalty, if not, they should write a state law nicknamed "The Joker in the Deck". If you confirmed murder count every exceeds 53 (a full deck plus a Joker), the death penalty is mandatory regardless of mental health issues.

Batman doesn't have to be the one flipping the switch. I think he's okay turning criminals over to other people to pass sentence.

Sometimes you need a more effective hero.

(and yes, I am aware that I've jumped between franchises)

Meh, no one dies in the Marvel universe. The Punisher and Ghost Rider are not allowed to eliminate Marvel's supervillains.

Ghost Rider doesn't kill per se but he leaves villains as vegetables. I don't see what's stopping him from going after Kingpin, Dr. Doom, Magneto, and Sabertooth among others.

To be fair, the Punisher would be a little bit overmatched against a Thanos or Apocalypse.

They die all the time. The problem is they come back from the grave just as fast!
