Hey, Im tom. Im new to this site and collecting warhammer etc. etc. I was recently introduced to Warhammer by a friend, and although he collects warhammer 40k, I fell in love with Lizardmen In my spare time I like to browse the internet for, well, just about anything I wanna know about. And play lotr:bfme 2 (Lord of the rings: Battle for middle earth 2) Found this website while looking for a full list of Lizardmen units. (Then found out there was a list on the Games Workshop website ) I'll post a list of my really small army... Well, where I should So, yeah, any hints would be helpful (and help with the points and stuff :S) PS: I can't paint well

Greetings, welcome to the forum and to the Lizardmen! In regards to points, do you have the LM army book? If not you really need it. You can't just rely on the net though it is a good start since as you found out GW has all the stats for the models on their website. The army book contains the points values for everything as well as descriptions of the special rules, all the magic items, a colour section full of pics, and lots of background stories. You just work out points in total by adding everything individually.
Sounds like I need it But like i said on my army list, im gonna go down to GW in the next couple weeks (might see if today is possible (unlikely )) and get the book and some other LM Umm, what LZ should i get with £21? A TG? Another saurus warrior regiment? A hero.... =3
Hard question to answer. Definitely the book should be your first priority, after that it depends on what style of army you want to play. Since you may well not know that yet, buy whatever models you like the look of best. You really can't go wrong with the selections in the LM army except for jungle swarms, which aren't very useful. Even if you buy TG and eventually decide not to take a Slann (only time they're really useful) you can put them in the back ranks of saurus units to fill them out.
The best looking one to me atm is Kroq-Gar But it rly depends on whats down there when i get there =3 So yh, wont be able to go down to GW for a week or 2, so I'll order the book from the internet.
Well welcome to the forum. I hope you find everything you need and get all your questions answered. I think you'll find the lizardmen pretty good at what they do. Good luck getting that book, and some more models...
