I have quite a few. I like them. The dropper bottle is so much better than GW's paint pots.

They are absolutely wonderful. Never go back to GW if you can help it.

The consistency varies, so test them before use.

Do not think/water down the washes. It causes them to cloud up.

Army Painter uses the same bottles. Much better than the stupid pots.

Must be a reason why only gw and revelle sell their stuff in potts... bottles or tubes are far more useful and common...

Nehekharan horseman build complete. Backstory and photo to follow.

On a related note: anyone ever use army painter bone spray?

No but I used white and hated it, had to strip the miniatures actually. I've heard that that colour (white) is particularly bad so might be a particular thing but I'm pretty sure I won't be buying Army Painter sprays again. Good waste of money and time there.

Well my other options are regular white prime and then paint the bones or get a can of rust oleum satin beige and hope to God it takes paint

A lot of people use their colour sprays with great success, don't hesitate there. It's just that for me, when a product goes as badly as it did (followed the instructions to the letter and even got to point if warming up the can) that range is for that point on, dead to me.

I know that it might seem a bit extreme and as I said due to that particular colour but money is not easy to earn and I stick to what I know works.

That course of action is usually my go to as well. I guess I'll try army painter, and if it doesn't work out.. well...I know

I used it for all my Skellies. Works great.
The blue one is cool for Skinks and Saurus (if you do them blue like I do).
BUT as always with spray cans: Do a spray test on some sprue part before spraying your miniatures!

    Good stuff

    Always do.

Follow up question: I've heard AP is more of a fog type spray. Any tips, seeing as you have used it?

Should I prime my models white prior to AP spray?

The spray works on the bare plastic nicely, just like GW spray primer. It is a bit thinner though, which is nice because it doesn't clog details so easily.
I prefer to have the nozzle pretty close while spraying. Especially in dry air.
If it is rather humid where you live you can hold it a bit further away.

Short bursts, always keep the can moving around. I only had problems once and that was - frankly - my fault. It was in winter and the air was cold and dry and I didn't test the spray but immediately fprayes on my Skellies. The result was a weird grainy coat.
...the models still turned out OK in the end. But so am more careful since then.
