image.jpg Very nicely camouflaged @Crowsfoot , mine won't be camouflaged in the same way. I thought about mimicking the bases with swampy slimed green, but decided to for a colour scheme that better reflects their aggressive nature.
Perhaps these colours are the ones they wear when they're wanting to be seen and to look threatening.

And thank you @Caprasauridae haha! Ill put them somewhere safe ;)

Those guys look like they would fit extremely well in a desert theme. Great job.

I was originally planning for desert bases, but went for a swampy texture in the end. Hope they look ok like this??

I think as long as you play "Ride of the Valkeries" when you field it all should go over smoothly!

They look absolutely fantastic and still work extremely well with the swampy texture. A great looking unit; very well executed! :)

Maybe some more green stuff to make the horns and frill spikes actually pointy, also the claws/toenails. :artist:

But so far so good. :D

I'm currently finishing off my entry for Rikkards sculpting competition, but will crack on with this one again soon :)
Been pondering the idea of writing up some rules for mazdamundi in AoS, and making a huge stegadon for him.

image.jpg I'm back here again with another small update! I've read up a bit more on the history of the "seraphon", and have decided to embrace the new celestial daemon theme a little more in my painting.
I pinky blank hate the colours and painting in the new book, I find it lairey and poorly thought out (just my opinion).
So I've decided to paint my lizards in a more traditional scheme like from the old worlds Lustrian jungles.
But, to make my skinks look more "magical" I've added some "starlight" to their scales, Auric Armour and Runefang Steel. :) love to hear your thoughts!

    :angelic: ooooh... shiny.

... hmmm if you wanted to tint the silver, you could add an thin layer of wash in the appropriate color. :artist:

I agree with @n810 maybe glaze the scales with a contrasting colour then rehighlight with runefang, they look really good so no great shakes if you leave them as is ;)
