Does that banner pole look bent to you ? Or is it just me ?

It might be bent a little bit back.. but I think the "illusion" is that the drumstick (beater) is right in front of the banner pole causing it to look like the same object?

The banner pole is being held in the right hand of the Knight, and the drumstick/beater in the left.

Unless I'm completely missing it, haha.

    .... ahhhhh

I thought you had glued it to the drumstick for some reason.
    (I've seen stranger conversions)

    Edit:
Wait.. why is he the musician and the banner bearer,
aren't these supposed to be separate models ?

Well... I built and completed the first 4 Knights then realized I had forgotten about the musician and the banner bearer. So I just combined the two and made a Super-Seraphon-Bard. Took a bit of green stuff... ended up working though.

Are they supposed to be separate models rules wise? Did I goof up pretty bad?

Update from last week. Finally finished my Oldblood on Carno this week. Might do a few more things to base, but I'm happy for now.

Finished my Start Collecting! box this weekend! So excited to get that off my list.

Started and finished my Skink Priest yesterday, took about 4 hours total I think - I kind of rushed through it but I think it turned out great!

Stunningly painted, the gold looks very shiny, how did you do that? Currently my saurus scar veteran on a cold one has tons of gold on him, but it doesn't look that good...

Thank you! I had a blast painting him. It was kind of tough getting all the arms and such glued on correctly and in placed.

    For the gold I used:
    Base: Retributor Armor (Citadel)
    Shade: Reikland Fleshshade (Citadel)
    Layer: Gehenna's Gold (Citadel)

I stopped using Agrax/Brown washes on my gold as it gave it more of a dirty/worn look. Which worked well for some of my other models, but I wanted a more rich gold. I tried Reikland, which gave it a deeper red color without really dulling it down. I think it turned out well. I think the next time I do a layer gold it will be one of the more brighter ones, as Gehenna's is pretty close to the base color.

I prefer Seraphim Sepia for shading gold, I totally agree with you about Agrax it is too brown for gold.

Agrax is nice if you want to achieve a more bronze feeling or a dirty worn touch... If you want the gold to shine better use something different... seraphim is good but I also like orange...

I've never used the Sepia, maybe I'll pick that wash up next. Is it a reddish wash as well? Looks a little darker.

I use the Casandora Yellow for my Warriors' shields. Might try the orange in the future.

Sepia is well sepia, (it's a real color)

Same here. Army painter calls it "soft tone" and it is literally all over most of my models.
The first color that I had to buy a new bottle of.

Good to know, I will have to do some experiments with my temple guard.

    Beautifully painted.
