First off, apologies if this is the wrong section for this. It seemed like the best place compared to the others. Ive been trying to find pictures of the glyphs to use for my larp character. I dont actually play WFB so I have little incentive to go buy the books. I found a 5th edition book on Scribd that has an alphabet, numbers, and some gods and a few key words, but I couldve sworn I had seen elsewhere glyphs for more. I thought I had seen one before for armor and maybe other combat related words. Also, 8th edition was only picked for a tag because I had to choose something. My purposes dont really require any specific edition, I assume. Is stuff like this anywhere online?
Thats a good start to my search. Any idea if there online anywhere? Is that even something that can be shared here if they are? I really cant justify buying a whole book just for 1 or 2 pages.
The L-O dice glyphs are easy to reproduce of you want something simple to work off. http://imageshack.com/a/img924/1867/aQFx3q.png http://imageshack.com/a/img923/1518/fdDHPq.png http://imageshack.com/a/img921/3834/47dcLD.png @Warden made some Mayan glyphs on this page and @pendrake did a heap, but I can't find them. Whatever you end up running with, don't forget to post some photos of the finished product back here.
It first appeared in the Feb-Apr Art Contest WIP/rules thread. Sorta thought there was a second page of them... ...but not finding such.
I was thinking about this recently, and I may have confused myself in my original question. Did one of the books have a section of how to say different words in the Lizardmen tongue? I think I may have been mixing that idea up with the glyphs, though glyphs are ultimately what I did want. Either way this is all great stuff.
Is this what you are looking for ??? http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/high-saurian.8006/#post-62090
That looks like the kind of thing I was thinking of. Between that and all these glyphs I may have everything I need. Thanks everyone.
There WAS a second page of your more freestyle ones. A mystery for @thedarkfourth-noir-detective-priest!
No, I just suffered a wishful thought. Or else I just lied like the lying "on hold" robots who originally inspired you. Your glyphs are important to us, please continue drawing them while we transfer you to another obsequious robot.
I re-photographed [?] the second page in the doodle notebook. The second page does include notional designs to represent the dark fourth. I really thought I had posted an earlier version of this... ...if I do a third page do I get a faithful robot sidekick? (I could use one of those...)
