I had a game at 1660 pts yesterday against khorne blades. I have an aggressive army consisting most of warriors and knights. I found myself in a very disadvantage potition since i was taking a lot of mortal wounds in every turn. Even when i was able to hit them their wounds were more like every other model in my army. 12 knights managed to kill 1 skullcrusher and 30 warriors managed to kill 3 blood warriors. My scar vet on carno completely miss all of his attacks that made him useless. I received many many many mortal wounds i couldnt avoid. How do you deal with an army like this?

    I would probably go with
    Leaders
    Saurus Sunblood (120)
    - General
    - Trait: Legendary Fighter
    - Artefact: Quicksilver Potion
    Skink Starpriest (100)
    - Artefact: Phoenix Stone
    Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (260)
    - Warblade
    - Artefact: Quicksilver Potion

    Battleline
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs

    Units
    5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
    5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
    3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)

    Behemoths
    Bastiladon (300)

    Battalions
    Sunclaw Starhost (80)
    Shadowstrike Starhost (120)

    Total: 1660/1660

There isn't much you can do with the mortal wounds, but with a shadowstrike you should be able to snipe his heroes buffing the units, the bastiladon will shoot many of them down before getting to you, you could replace the carno with a steg for more shooting, but it sounds like bad dice luck, so I left him in. If you can kill one model with him the ability to run and charge can be game changing. The sunblood is a beast, but the problem is truing to match savagery with Korne. You must out smart him. Chameleon skinks should be able to take out a skull crusher, maybe two. Bastiladon should be able to help out. Skullcrushers have 5 wounds but only a 6 bravery, depending on his unit soze you should be able to get an additional 1or 2 gone in battleshock. I don't know his build, but you need to kill the heroes. General and the blood secrator need to die fast.

Alternatively you could drop a unit of knights for a priest, but more models will work better for you. Still using the chameleons to try to snipe things, your knights should charge run charge. Do not stay in combat. Charge this turn next turn run and have other unit (s) charge. I would run them 1 unit of knights with the carno and two units of knights charging together. The warriors and sunblood can get objectives or clean up. Remember to shoot into the combat with your bastiladon. It's not going to be easy, and if you can go to 1700 take the firelance, but you really need to outthink the opponent. Look for what he is doing or setting up for and figure out how to prevent it.
