Could I ask you to edit your post with some more compactly written versions of the lists? Very difficult to get an overview.
I think the Taurosaur has to pick between Giant Blowpipes and Engine of the Gods...your List 2 has both of them. I vote List 4 as my favorite, because a big block of Saurus backed up by no less than 3 Monsters just looks fun.
The idea for list 4 was basically to get as many monsters with impact hits in the list, to try and win combat just by charging, and if needed I have the Saurus for the bigger fights. Especially the Carnosaur with Spear of the stampede seems nasty if you are on the recieving end. And yeah the Taurosaurs bow still seems kinda useless to me, given that you in a way trade it for the Taurosaurs combat abilities.
List 4 is quite tough haha Only downside is that you may expect lvl 4 wizards even at 1500pts. It's dangerous business to not leave with either the dispel banner or a lv l1 priest with scroll ^^ There's also only 1 scoring unit, but when you go with a big unit of SW you kinda limit yourself so that's just how it is.
Yes I know, but with the Carno and Taurosaur, there is hardly any room for magic. And only 1 scoring Unit might be a problem, but with 35 and monsters to help, I hope they won't run. And potentially ward saves from the Taurosaur. I guess I would just go for getting across the borad as fast as possible, so the opponent won't have as much time shooting or casting magic, and hope that with my monsters and impact hits, I will be able to overpower his units, as pretty much all my points are in cc.
Maybe Jaguar Warriors upgrade would be better for the Saurus Warriors. Then they will have movement 6, and be able to keep up with the Taurosaur.
So I made a list 5.
