AoS 1k list from my scraps

    Im an old fantasy edition 1 player returning to the illustrious lizardman errr sorry Seraphon army. im trying to put together a 1k army with the minatures that i have,, I will have more once i find all my old metal army figures, but for the mean time i have made a purchase or 2 of the new stuff.. going over what i have at the moment im finding it hard to synergize something that wold be competative at 1k.. so this is what i have

    x1 Old blood on carnasaur
    x1 saurus sunblood
    x1 scar-vet on coldone
    x1 skink priest with feathered cloak
    x1 skink priest
    x1 skink starpriest
    x1 slann starmaster
    x1 astrolith bearer
    x1 engine of the gods
    x1 stegadon
    x1 bastiladon
    x48 skinks
    x15 saurus guards
    x7 saurus knights
    x11 saurus warriors
    x10 chamelion skinks

    as you can see its a bit of a mixed bag im still looking to get some kroxigors(maybe) ripperdactyls and razordons.. but until then its all i have
    any help with a list would be fantastic

    You could go something like this,

    Allegiance: Seraphon

    LEADERS
    Skink Starpriest (80)

    UNITS
    40 x Skinks (200) -Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100) -Spears
    10 x Chameleon Skinks (240)
    5 x Saurus Knights (100) -Blades

    BEHEMOTHS
    Bastiladon (280)

    TOTAL: 1000/1000 WOUNDS: 82 LEADERS: 1/4 BATTLELINES: 3 (2+) BEHEMOTHS: 1/2 ARTILLERY: 0/2 ALLIES: 0 / 200

    Add in some Rippers once you get them for a Shadowstrike battalion

    Or you could use your Sunblood as a stand-in for an Eternity Warden and do this:

    thanks for that guys loving the lists... i love the saurus guards in the eternal starhost. they are like a foot tank with awesome saves.

    our local club is about to start a legue comp up at 500 pts. so im gonna have to do some trimming as well for it lol.. i was thinking about

    or go with something that had a punch maybe like

    At low points the more wounds/units will help for objectives but you won't have much punch.

    So would it be better to go with the cold one for a little synergy with the knights.
    Or go for a punch with the carny which is only 5 wounds less overall and the same numbers..
    I'm just thinking that if an opponent brings a large creature the cold one might not have the kick?

    I think the first list will do quite well in small games. Saurus Knights can hit pretty hard if buffed by the ScarVet and the Starpriest.
