I'm not the greatest painter on this forum, but I'm more pleased with my Chamo Skinks than all my other work so far, so I'll kick off this thread. I took normal Skinks and painted them in the style of old army camouflage.



My first Lizardmen conversion was Chameleon Skink Braves. I wanted them to have blowpipes and large swords. That means I had to convert a left arm to hold either a blowpipe or a weapon (as opposed to a dagger or nothing). I’m generally pleased with both styles, but I like the left handed big sword champion better than the two with the left handed blowpipes (which are held at a somewhat awkward angle).

Some easy "curly tail" and "googly eye" conversions of the 5th edition plastics, with newly sculpted arm holding poison frog and blowdart:

Skin was stegadon scale wash with agrax earthshade then sotek blue then Lothern blue with Baharroth blue edge.

@Crowsfoot where did you get the skink holding blowpipe in one hand and a melee weapon in another? Is that a discontinued model of the Skinks?

My finecast skinks I purchased recently are only 3 unique models with 2 duplicates, and I don't have that one that is holding a melee weapon in another hand.
