Hello guys. As told few hours ago i open a little blog to share my humble progress from the Let's Get Motivated.

So... it's not reptiles but some vampire spawns. Maybe in few months i'll do a lizardmen or two, but for now i'll go with undeads.

First, some quick preview of some old works :

    The carstein family

    My own character, Manesh'k

    The super witch-hunter zombies.
"Why the hell is he sharing his crappy zombis ?" you could think. And i understand why. But do not underestimate or mess with them. Ever. One sylvan spell weaver, two druchii witches and a full DWARF DEATHSTAR was beaten by them. So even if they are not my best painted minis... they deserve to be exposed !

Well, i lied, i got ONE unit with reptiles. It's my black knights on spectral cold-blood :

Oook, so i said at first this post was to share the progress of my army at your let's get motivated. So here the first add i make this April 2018 :

No one really knows what these creatures are. Several similarities can be noted with the degenerated species of ghouls : the pale skin, insatiable appetite for dead flesh, notable resistance to pain and disease, aversion to light... Yet an expert in the field would point out that the similarities stop there. These things are neither living nor undead. They are parodies of non-life, amalgams without souls composed of several corpses animated by some sorceries. These unnatural aberrations are the very definition of puppets in the hands of sorcerer's apprentices. And yet. When we discovered them desecrating a vault, their master was no longer. The necromancer having the madness - or genius, I could not decide - to breathe life into them.... paid a high price. His death should have taken these creations with him. History forget until their existence. And yet. Those monsters are still out there somewhere.

3 hulking ghouls - or whatever they are - coming to my unholy army !

Tomorrow i'll take pictures of the fresh painted bat swarms, ironically waiting some sun light.

    Everybody loves cold ones :D

    Thanks for your greetings.

As written in the let's get motivated May 2018, here some new guys

The four little zombis who joined the colored hord.

My Lymbo Horsemen, few colors only but still, i like him this way. I'll keep this pattern for the next ones.

Next are my sigmarines conversion in Baneful Seraphim. (idea stolen from @DessTelain on twitter)
The fuck is a Baneful Seraphim you could ask. Well, in AoS it's called Archai Morghast and in the 9th the Winged Reaper. I dislike both of those names and choose a new one, just like i hate Hexwraith (it doesn't mean anything in french) and call the previous dude Lymbo Horsemen.

This month i painted two of them (the pattern test is the centered one)

And a little bonus : i used magnet for those damn wings and base. So i can easily store them, to be exposed on my shelf with others mini in transparent box ready to pick for any battle.

    See you next month !

    Thanks guys.

All right, time to share this month works.

First, my monstly 4 new zombies. Do no judge about the color, i made a poll about...

Then i did 4 new Lymbo Horsemens. Here three :

And the full squad who don't fit in my usual picture screen

Also, because i spoke about on the Let's get Motivated, there is a digital drawing i made for a french bretonnian drawing contest. Obviously i'm currently losing because "it's not Bretonnian enought". Well, they are right. It's some of my own characters including a Bretonnian dude i was planning to draw and i took the occasion.

The old skeleton head fits the SCE body more nicely than I would have thought. Probably because it is rather big, so it looks more in line with the body proportions. SCE heads are too small for those bodies IMO.

Indeed, a smaller head would have seems very tiny with the sigmarines bodies...

So. As said in the lets get motivated of August, not a lot of minis. BUT two units completed with the little things i did. :p

First, a short introduction because they deserve it...

The origin of this creatures has been lost in the depths of history, offspring from the genius of twisted minds. Probably they were heroes of their time, defeated and perverted by darkness. They are now ghosts endowed with terrible power and animated by forgotten rituals. These knights are the elite of the non-living and descend upon their prey from the heavens. They ignore armor and shelters, smashing their targets as if they were just twigs.

Long before seeing them, however, the very few witnesses who survived their encounter report that they giggle while shredding their prey, expressing themselves through child voices contrasting with their appearance. These disembodied laughter swearing with their nature are one more proof of the evil that these abominations represent. And the discomfort they leave behind leaves an eternal scar. As I write these lines, I feel sorry for the poor being describing these monsters to me. Caught in the guts by memories he would rather keep buried, the unfortunate is shaken with tears.

Whether you are warm under your bedsheets, leading an army or lost in the woods, fear these innocent laughter. They are the baneful omen that the Seraphim are close...

    Here come the Baneful Seraphim

And now, my second zombi-pack \o/

    Thanks !

As i wrote in the previous let's get motivated, i started to paint my undead wyvern. But as expected, one month was too short to paint it all. Only three of the four parts are colored now. So it's a wip.

I added my own character, my kazstellan and crypt guards for size and color references.
